Need a smith to install a pad adjuster

I want to have an adjustable pad plate with a new grind to fit pad installed on the Citori XS Skeet. Recommendations for a stock smith? Preferably in or near Orange County.

Call Bob Day @ "Americhoke" Phone: 562-923-3608. He should be able to take care of it.

I just called Bob and am seeing him to get it done. Out of the way for me, but I will swing by Phillip's Wholesale in Azusa for reloading supplies. I would shoot Triple B why out there if not for the reason I am having the gun tuned up at this time; recovering from minor surgery for "trigger finger" to a non trigger finger.

Bob now has my gun and perhaps I will get it back in a week. Funny thing was I wanted a specif type of pad adjuster that he didn't think he stocked, but when I got to his place he had discovered that he had one.

Dropped my gun off with Bob Day of Americhoke on Sunday and three days later met up with him at Triple B Clays where he took me to patterning board. Bob had taken an educated guess as to how to set it up for me and it shot dead on at the P board. He explained how I might make a trivial adjustment to my comb (installed years ago by a much less gifted gun smith) depending on how I want to shoot. As is it shoots 50/50 with a figure 8 and the top bead just below the POA. I don't know about sporting clays and many would like something more like 60/40 or greater for trap, but I think that may be fine for skeet and it's a dedicated skeet gun.

Anyway, I am glad I paid attention to all the Bob Day recommendations.
