    Benelli M2 tube extension

I wanted to add a tube extension that would sit flush with my benelli m2 (18.5 inch).

    Should I get a +2 or +3 extension?

    Thank you.

Isn't there an issue with import shotguns being greater than 5 rounds?

Yes and no. Because it's an imported shotgun 922R is potentially in play. And once you swap out the magazine tube for something bigger...and presumably a US made tube, you now need to get the named critical imported parts down to 10. The m2, however, only has 12 of 14 critical parts to begin with. So if you replace the tube with a US part, you only have to change one more part. Pickup a new (and relatively cheap) US made follower from Brownells and I think you're done.

And please don't quote me on this. My 922R knowledge is really around the m4 but I recall reading this on m2 while I was researching the m4. Converting the m2 is infinitely easier since it's only got 12 of the key parts to start with and there's a lot more after market for the m2 since it's the king of 3 gun. OP you'll want to double check all this from a more reliable source than me. The Benelli forum can probably help wit this.

Give Dave's Metal Works a call, he makes Benelli tubes and other parts.
