I picked up two 26" 12ga Weatherby Element Waterfowlers with the Max-5 camo.
One for me and one for my son when he gets bigger.
Not much info about them so I thought I would post a review.
I bought them without putting my hands on one. Couldn't find anyone with one in stock.
Opening the box, quite surprised by the fit and finish.
Came with buttstock angle shims and a LOP shim, as well as 3 std chokes and a extended choke for steel long range.
I added a buttstock shim to get the sight alignment perfect when shouldering. Now it shoulders perfectly each time.
I took it and shot a round of trap today to get a feel for it.
Shot 22/25
I haven't shot a round in 4+ months and I am not that great to begin with.
So 22 out of the box is exceptional for me.
All in all I couldn't be more pleased for a sub $1K ($690) semi auto. Pretty tough to beat.
