      Exchange it. I have two I have installed on the Remingtons and two for the Mossbergs and they are not consistent. That being said they do cycle all the way once installed. Do you have a heat shield on your Mossberg? That is a known issue regarding being really tight.

        if you have a heat shield it will be tight. You need to crimp the heat shield for it to fit properly

          No heat shield for me. Wish that was the issue.

            I tossed a Magpul on my 870 and 500 , the 870 it was no issue, the 500 I really had to rack that sucker back hard to load a shell. After about 100xs it seemed to reduce in issues.

                  I had no problems on my 590. Might want to check out this thread.

                  I installed this forend on my new 500 6 shot Cruiser with the heavy walled breacher barrel. I had a problem with binding at the end of the ejection stroke.
