    10 gauge shotguns

Anybody else here into 10 gauge shotguns? I just shoot an older Spanish double shotgun today with no recoil pad. It was pretty brutal. It felt like a donkey punch.

I have an Ithaca MAG-10 Roadblocker I picked up many years ago for $550. Then, I was at the N. Hollywood B&B one day soon after and they were blowing out their stock of Federal Premium 10g 00 and 000 plated buck shells for something ridiculously cheap; I bought them out.

I only shoot it occasionally but because of it's great weight and gas action it is surprisingly mild shooting for what it is.

      Oh yes the Roadblocker

I too have an Ithaca MAG-10. I wonder if I can find the roadblocker barrel would it fit on my MAG-10? I don't see why not but has anybody tried this?

How do you know what a donkey punch feels like?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

As far as I know, the only difference is the barrel; it should work.

Didn't Ted Blocker carry one of these in the old TV series, "The Highway Patrol" ?

Glad I wasn't the only one who went at that.

Every so often I look for the Mag 10 at sites like Gunbroker. I'll probably get a 930 Mossy for my next shottie, but a Roadblocker deal would change that. Well, I guess I'd get both...

Agreed, but he was talking about things from the receiving end. BTW your 'welcome' to the PRK is chilling in its potential for accuracy.
