SBS at the LGS in the OC

I was picking up a pistol on Saturday after a PPT. While I was waiting, I watch one of the employees open a box for a customer that had ordered a KSG-Tactical online.

This is what he pulled out of the box...

Looking for the best tactical pump-action shotgun? The KSG has dual tubes for fast reloading, downward ejection, and a max 12+12 Capacity.

    Some key attributes:

    - Shoulder fired
    - Overall length is 21.5”
    - Barrel length is 13.5”

There were many puzzled looks by the staff, tape measures being brought to bear, scratching of heads, etc.

I’m not sure how it all worked out in the end, as I was eventually helped and took off.

    Whoops!!

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
    Come on...what harm??

They needed an approved ATF NFA transfer form before that could even be shipped. Someone screwed up.

They do sell a version of the Tactical model that is specifically made to have the barrel cut after you get a NFA stamp. You can receive it and enjoy it while you wait, then chop the barrel after the stamp comes.

Exactly, and it was definitely NOT the KSG-NR, haha!!

The first clerk was actually helping the customer pick out a case for it, haha!!

if they sent a NFA weapon by mistake can the receiving FFL even legally ship it back? thought you needed to be a special FFL to deal in NFA items. or would they just turn it over to local law enforcement and let them figure out what to do with it.
