    Looking for a mentor

I have shot skeet the Calguns clinic at Triple B's a couple of times.
    I did so-so.
My son and I went again to Triple Bs but the skeet fields were full.
We decided to try Sporting Clays for the first time.
I can't hit a moving target to save my life!

Anyone out there willing to help an older newbie learn to shoot a shotgun?
How much can I expect to pay for one on one instruction?

No shotgun shooting fun for you until you post an updated picture of that brown beast of a guard dog on your avatar.

          Hahahaha
It's not actually my dog. Just a picture downloaded from the net.
I don't think my Yorkies look manly enough to pose as hunting dogs

You might want to PM Captian Dick, not only does he help coach the Skeet Clinics, he is also a Sporting Clays instructor at BBB's. I've been to many of the Skeet Clinics and can tell you Richard is a good coach.
As for cost, the last private lesson I took was $75 an hour, 2 hour minimum.
If you want to go to BBB's one weekend and shoot, I'd be happy to help as much as I can...for free.

                That would be great!
I will take you up on that offer
