    Thank you Forum

A while back I posted asking advice for a shotgun for trap and upland game. Yesterday, I purchased a Mossberg 930 28" Field for about $600 out the door.

So thanks for all the solid advice. I'm looking forward to murdering some clays and experimenting with the included chokes.

I have a strong feeling I would have been dissapointed in any of the O/U guns in my budget, you guys saved me from that headache. I'll be sure to post a review and some photos when she arrives.

Hopefully you'll enjoy your 930 as much as I enjoy mine. A good cleaning when you get it and you should be GTG. I had no "break-in" shooting heavier loads, just standard target or upland bird shells. No issues. I have about 1700+ shells thru mine.

You didn't get an A300? First Roy Moore, now this.

Lol, I really couldn't afford it. I started my own small business a few months ago and right now a few hundred dollars is a big difference to me.

I had set a $700 out the door limit for myself, it was tempting to step up in price, but as it goes with guns there's always something better for "just" $50 more.

Nice I have the 930 JM Pro and love it. Mine really wants to be clean all he time though. Runs great.

You made a great choice. Enjoy the heck out of it! The extra $ for an A300 is just because it can be used as a boat oar if you need one. Lol
