    Mag tub extentions on barretta

I just had a question reguarding mag tube extions on imported shotgun. Im looking into the barreta 1301 tactical no pistol grip and plan to add some american parts. Adrius industries make some badass shotgun parts. So for the most part i plan on addinng the nordic Components +2 mag tube extention kit make 7 +1, adrius makes a magpul sga stock adaptor so ill get that and the sga stock, a latch cover/bolt release, and a cowittness red dot mount. So is there a limit of american made parts i can put on imported shotguns? My understanding is no pistol grip of folding/teleoscoping stock. Im in the clear.

    Under Federal laws...

In order to legally expand the capacity to greater than 5 rounds, the imported shotgun can not have more than 10 foreign made parts.

    Under CA laws...

A semi-auto shotgun can not have a folding/extending stock and a pistol grip or vertical handgrip or thumbhole stock. [PC 30515(a)(6)]

10 foreign made parts that expand it or foreign parts in the gun? Assuming a berretta or any import shotgun is 100 not american parts.

In order to legally expand an imported shotgun to greater than 5 rounds, the shotgun needs to have foregin made parts switched for USA made parts and enough parts switched so that the firearm contains 10 or less foreign made parts.

AFAIK, the Beretta 1201 shotgun has the following parts:

Frames, receivers, receiver castings, forgings or stampings
          Barrels
          Bolts
          Bolt carriers
          Trigger housings
          Triggers
          Hammers
          Disconnectors
          Butt stocks
          Forearms, hand guards
          Magazine bodies
          Followers

Which is a total of 12 parts.

So, two of those parts need to be switched out for USA made parts.

Replacing the shoulder stock and forearm for USA made versions would make it comply with the Federal laws/regulations.

Ok so once i add said usa stock and forend or even a usa made shell follower. I can then add the mag extention that has to be usa made as well.

But if anything on the 1301 is stamped berreta usa then that is not a foreign part. Thank you very much for your help with this. When I read it it seemed like it said you cant add it as a foreign mag extenion. Since i can add the usa stock and a follower no aftermarket forends for this mold. Im am at my magic number for 10 foriegn parts. And can only add USA parts.

Fed laws requires both the manfuacturer and importer to mark the firearm.

                Manufacturer's marking = P. Beretta . Made in Italy.

Importer's marking = Beretta USA Corp.

Shouldnt be. That only 1 usa part. The 1301 needs 2 to 3parts most likly. Which is hard to do. So i just bought a m4 today!!!!! Already have my 922r parts ordered.

Lancer +3 is one part, Mesa Pistol grip stock is another....technically 4, stock adapter, buffer tube, grip, and stock.
