My hunting partner (lives in Alaska) has a Tar Hunt slug gun. Took a nice whitetail with one the week before last when we were up in Saskatchewan.
He's been looking around for Remington Buckhammer 1-1/4 oz, 12 ga, 2-3/4 inch slugs, but it appears Remington no longer manufacturers them.
Has anyone used the Buckhammers or a Tar Hunt and if so, any suggestions for a substitute ammo?
