    870 "security" Magazine capacity

Hey all, So for a few years now, I have owned an 870 18" barrel sythetic stock shotgun. Every where I look it tells me it has a 7 round magazine. To me that means 7 in the tube, one in the chamber. I can only fit SIX 2 3/4" rounds! Whats the deal? Are they advertised wrong or is there definition of capacity and magazine differant than mine?

Actually, upon further research, it seems it is only supposed to hold six. Big five didn't know what they were talking about

Big 5 actually sells both 7 (6 + 1) and 8 (7 + 1) round security models. I prefer the 7 round as the extension is flush with the barrel.

the big 5 security model is 20" barrel fits 7+1

Are you sure you got the security?

I have the express. I saw the add for a split second the other day, and though "HEY MINE DOESNT DO THAT!", Then looked around a bit and everything said "7", I assumed they meant the magazine count, not including a chambered round. BossHog, I too prefer the flush look of the Express. IF I ever need more than 7, WOO! I don't even want to know whats going on in that situation. Thanks for the help guys.
