    SoCal Skeet Clinic 9/23/17

It was a beautiful day to be shooting some clays, unfortunately the clinic did not go off as planned.
We had 5 shooters registered, perfect for some good 1-on-1 instruction. But as fate would have it 1 shooter and 1 of the instructors fell ill and could not make it. So we got started a little short handed, determined to make the best of it. As there were no new shooters, this clinic took on a different look...advanced instruction and alternate ways to approach each station. Things were looking good thru station 4, then fate struck again...issues came up that required coach Don to leave...At this point the clinic was effectively over. We shooters continued to work through the remaining stations without instruction.
It was a different kind of day, and we still had some fun. Even with the way the day went there was still some progress made, with a little help from fellow shooters, CRamII was able to hit H & L 8 consistently...GOOD JOB!!!

So, with a short day 3 of us went and shot some Sporting Clays...GOOD TIMES!!!

    09/23/clinic

I was indeed a beautiful day to bust some clays. The weather was perfect. But, as Ceh383 stated, Instructor Don have to leave early. And so... Ceh383 was kind enough to share his knowledge, experience, and skills which for me, another eye opening on how to approach station 8 both highs and low.

Station 8 is supposed to be the easiest as i was told. Not for me. For the last 4 clinic sessions, i was struggling with station 8 both high and low. Until yesterday when Ceh383 showed me a different approach to station 8 made it doable than impossible.

Thank you very much Ceh383 for the lesson. Get well soon Coach Don. Thank you Trapperjohn for taking over coaching.

For those who are still having second thoughts about joining the clinic, the show will go on no matter what. There are and there will always something to learn.

I didn't know you could shoot clays with a scope on your shotgun!

      Hahahaha
Hope all is well with Coach Don.

LOL...It's not a scope, it's a Shotkam, it mounts under the barrel
