Mini Shot Shells Who has them in stock?

1 3/4" Mini 12-ga shotgun shells. Minibuck shot loads with 7 pellets of 4Buck and 4 pellets of 1Buck at 1200 fps. Low-recoil and a great choice for home defense.

It maybe fine for single, over-under, and SXS but it may not cycle properly with pumps. I don't think it will cycle autos at all.

Make sure your shotgun functions well before choosing as home defense rounds.

Milwall normally stocks them at all the gun shows.

we might be able to order some for you. We've ordered a few cases a couple years ago in both slugs and the combo shot. Most pumps wont cycle them though and they will jam up. My 1200 cycled them fine but you will definately want to try a few boxes out before using them for HD

Have heard that they cycle fine in the 1300 Defenders. I do know they will not cycle my Benelli M3, in either semi or pump mode.

Personally I think a 1300 Defender loaded with about 10 of these are the perfect home defense gun.

I've used them in my Remington 870 and my Benelli Super Nova. They are great. Try MidwayUSA for stock.

I used to get them at the gun show, but don't see them much any more.

Here's a short review of my Winchester 1300 Defender using mini shells:

I ran another box of 20 through my 1300 Defender when I tested the new light mount, and while they worked OK, I'd hesitate to depend on them in a defense situation.

In the 1300, they don't eject very forcefully, and this time the rims seemed to be catching on the ejection port, causing them to flop out, not ejecting more than a few inches away from the gun. How hard I worked the pump didn't really matter a lot.

I also had the last round of both mag loads stovepipe, but they shook loose pretty easily.

These were the 7.5 rounds, and like always, they had a lot of spread and a pretty sparse pattern out of my 18" barrel.

                        Love the recoil, though.

I have tried cycling them through a Mossy 500, rem 879, winchester 1897, norinco 1887 and mossy 935 with no luck. I also get failure to fires with my double barrel shotguns. They will usually go off after a second hammer strike in a double barrel shotgun. I am writting it off to hard primers in the shotgun shells since both double guns fire everything else I put through them just fine.

Am I the only one who remembers a shotgun made specifically by somebody to only cycle these shells?

I know they were working on one. I put a few on order but never heard more about it. They probably never got off the ground. I would imagine it was a real niche market that would not have made money.
