Anyone own a Remington 870 .410?

I own 6 different 870's and love them all. The smallest I have is a 28ga and it's a jewel. I was contemplating on getting the .410, but I dunno if it's worth it.

I already have a .410 side-by-side.

Anyone have experience with the 870 in .410? What do you think of it?

I don't have an 870, but I do have a .410 pump and a single shot, and I like them a lot. They're great to shoot when you want to practice without bashing your shoulder. My kids like shooting .410 too, since they don't care much for heavy recoil.

That said, they're not really practical guns for most purposes. Still, every time I see a Mossberg 500 or Rem 870 in .410, I have to struggle to keep my wallet in my pocket.

I guess it would be fun if you just want to complete your collection. I've got an 1100 in .410 which is fun for dove hunting! My pump .410 is Winchester Model 42.
