    Savage 212 question.

Are there any asinine CA laws that would apply to this rifle/shotgun? It's a bolt action 12g slug gun with a detachable mag and rifled barrel. I was thinking about getting a boyd stock in an attempt to lower the recoil but they have thumb holes and we all know how dangerous those are. Any help would be appreciated thank you in advance.

there are no grip requirement on non-semiauto

You can have a pistol grip or thumbhole stock on a bolt action firearm.

to my knowledge the only requirement on bolt guns are barrel length and overall length. (and certain caliber restrictions like 50 BMG)

Limbsaver recoil pad will tame the beast..... to the extent that it can be tamed. . Buy one, you won't regret it.

Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

$13-$14 a box of 5 saboted Barnes copper bullets. That's not too bad a bite, considering what you can do with them and how they perform. They are accurate and deadly way past 100 yards. Jus the thing for "shotgun only" areas.
