    Remington Versa Max Competition Help

Hello. I am looking into getting a a Rem VM Comp shotgun soon and was looking into changing a few things. One of the things is the mag tube. can someone with at a Remington Versa Max Competition or Tactical tell me the length from the end of the forend grip to muzzle of barrel as shown in the pic? Looking to replace existing tube with a Nordic MXT

    thanks!

The Carbon tube is better than the Nordic, but it you insist on replacing it I happen to have the Nordic of the Versamax and will be glad to trade.

Thanks for the info el squid.

Dwalker.... it isn't that I don't like the carbon tube, it's just that I would like to add barrel clamp and I understand the carbon tube is too big in diameter for a clamp.

I stopped using a barrel clamp as it shifts POI for slugs. I have like three of the Nordic clamps and a bunch of the steel Remington clamps. The entire point of the monotube is so you do not need a barrel clamp.
