You shouldn't own firearms if you don't know what you're doing

You need to take the trigger assy out and see what you broke and order a new one. Never pull the trigger...

I would hope that there's a YouTube video that will help walk you through it a little bit easier.

Good luck and be thankful it's not a very expensive shotgun.

Kinda take offence to that. I can properly handle a firearm. Maintenance on the other hand, not my strong suit.

Would pulling the trigger with the barrel out break something?

do you have land to hunt on OP?

I can drive out fix your gun quick, then bring back some wild game...

It is very easy to remove the pins on your receiver, remove pins give action a good visual inspection, hop on brownells if needed, install parts back where they are supposed to go... test fire at round orange flying things.

I am hoping I sense sarcasm, if this was an actual statement it would be surprising coming from a member and senior.

                          Nah, I'm city folk.

I was attempting to field strip it without help because I was pissed off. Mainly decided not to **** with it without advice first

maybe the easiest solution would be to seek out a gun smith.

                              Chill.

I'd disassemble, look up the downed shotgun, and assemble as needed very carefully.

We all have one of those WTF moments; I know I did when I took apart my first Mossberg over 15 years ago. I remember the elevator assembly and slide action assembly giving me problems but of course it was user-error.
