So last week I picked up a smoking deal ($400) on and old UNFIRED 1978 Remington Wingmaster in 20 gauge. It's one of the last Wingmaster models build on and the old 12 gauge receiver/frame before they came out with the lighter frame for their 20 and 28 gauge models. That being said, is still feels light as hell, great fit, swings faster than any other shotgun I own, and it's beautiful.
I took it out and fired a round of trap and a few sporting clays, and the gun is just tits! Only minor problem was the action felt a bit sticky, so I decided to take it apart and give it a once over cleaning/lube job... and just busted one of the internal pieces attached to the reliever... Not sure the exact name of the piece, but I'll post up some pictures in and effort to get help from the CGN after I've pouted for a bit longer and thrown back a couple of beers...
p.s. -I'd never actually punch a child. I just feel like Ralphy after that first shot with his Red Rider in the backyard....
