    Mossberg customer service

    I traded for a silver reserve (I know a low end O/U but i needed a cheaper one) before last hunting season. tried to shoot and the gun has double fired from the day I got it. I just stuck it in the cabinet and kinda forgot about it. well I decided to use my 2 20ga O/Us this season. so I pulled it out and called Mossberg to get it fixed. I talked to joe at customer service and he told me how to get it to them. he also explained it was way out of warranty and if there is any charge they would call. so I shipped the gun out and it got to them on Monday July 3rd about 10 am. I called Joe today about 1 pm, I wanted to see if there was a way that when the tech gets to it he could call and let me know if he was confident that it would be repaired. I needed to know this as some paper work I have to do once the serial # is on the paperwork and sent off I can't change it. I'm stuck to use the guns on the paperwork. I also wanted to double check that it got there and all was received good. he pulled up the work order and told me the gun was received on Monday. it was repaired and tested and is back in the mail.
    after reading all the bad customer reviews online on was expecting 4 weeks at best and to pay for service since it was out of warrenty. I told Joe I was floored and how appreciative I was. he said "you were easy to work with, most people are not easy to work with".
    they repaired the gun in one day, i paid $67 for 5 day ups to them, they covered repair cost and covered return shipping cost. it was shipped today and will be here Saturday.
    so A++ for Mossberg customer service. i would say if y'all need to use their repair ask for joe, and don't be a d**k, lol

      Nice to hear a good story when it comes to customer service. +1 for Mossberg.
      A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it.
