What choke tubes are compatable with it? Also on the safety there is a switch, one side is one dot the other side is 2 dots, I think it's barrel selection but I'm not sure which dot is what.
When I dry fire only one barrel fires, than I have to move the switch and the other fires, is that normal? Can I go bang bang on the skeet field or will it go "bang, switch bang"?

Try pressing in the trigger, reset, then press again. It should fire both barrels on two pulls.

Probably kinetic triggers..... Look up "kinetic triggers".....then look up "Mechanical Triggers"

All I can tell is it seems like your google broke.

No idea on choke tubes...I'd call Brownells or Briley and speak with a tech.

With safety set to one dot, the lower barrel fires first...2 dots fires the upper barrel first.

The gun switches barrels by itself, but only after shooting and not dry firing.

Only with live ammo. You can try this at home with an EMPTY gun.

1. Make sure the gun is unloaded
2. Make sure the gun is unloaded AGAIN
3. With the muzzle in a safe position, pull the trigger
4. With the muzzle in a safe position gently rap the butt stock on the ground. This should reset the trigger
5. Repeat #3 above

lanber is a spanish shotgun maker. the general consensus is that quality is above the turkish manufacturers but slightly below the entry level big names (beretta, browning).

several years ago CDNN sports moved a crazy amount of lanber shotguns at nearly 50% off. I'm not sure exactly what the deal was -- perhaps lanber decided to get out of the US market and did a big closeout through CDNN? most people were pretty happy with what they got for the price through CDNN. I think that lanber continues to be sold in other countries like the UK.

on your gun the first dot means the selector is set to fire the top barrel first, while the two dots means that it is set to fire the second barrel first. It has a inertia trigger which means that it uses the recoil of shot to reset to the other barrel. When firing live rounds it should be able to fire two shots, the first shot coming from the barrel which the selector is set to (no need to manually move the switch to fire the other barrel -- this happens automatically).

since CDNN closed out these guns they still have accessories like choke tubes -- relatively cheap too - $9.99 for a choke.

Sorry, forgot to look at this. Mine has fixed chokes, so no chokes to put into it. The dots on the side of the safety indicate which barrel is being fired first, 1 dot is the top, 2 dots is the bottom. Yes, it is normal for that to happen when you dry fire. Lastly, the barrel selection is literally only for your own personal preference, as well as some people who think that firing the bottom barrel first leads to less muzzle rise. No matter what barrel you fire first, it will go bang bang, not bang click bang.

I bought a 2097 Sporting Lux through CDNN several years ago and it is a great shotgun. It's no Browning or Beretta, but perfectly suitable for busting clays which I do on an informal basis from time to time, I have had no issues with mine. Lanber's have a following overseas, like the UK, as a good quality value gun.
