    Charles Daly

I have a Charles Daly Miroku Diamond OU in 20 gauge. I'm trying to determine the year it was manufactured. Can anyone point me to a site that might have this info? Thanks in advance.

Pictures added below (see TOM-ADC Post #26).

Sure. Probably not until this weekend as I'm up to my eyeballs getting a deck in and some trees removed from my property. Beautiful shotgun.

I can't even begin the guess how many thousands of rounds these have thru them but other then a broken trigger spring in the 12 ga they have been flawless.
I've worn the blueing off where my right hand makes contact with them but many 25+ with both.

Mine has no wear marks anywhere. No hand contact marks. It has premium grade wood and extensive scroll work. I keep it and several others in my safe at my daughters home. Hope to pick it up this weekend.

Mine has the engraving and great wood far from plain Jane and both have taken a fair share of birds both clay and editable.

I appreciate your time. I did find some info that came with the shotgun. It I dictates its a model 800. Based on the photos on the factory documents, it has the best scroll engraving of the various models displayed. The only mark on this shotgun is a small thin scratch on the butt stock. I'll get you some pictures once I pick it up from my daughters house in Vacaville. It says B.C. Miroku under the receiver.

I haven't looked at my paperwork in 48 years I bought both of mine in 1969 in Japan so I'd guess it was made 68-69 was surprised to see mine is also a model 800 so I'd think the engraving is equal BTW they cost me a $168 each back then.
