    Maverick 88 Buttstock Screw STUCK

Trying to remove the factory stock from my Maverick 88, but the buttstock screw would not budge. I tried spraying CLP on it, but that didn't work. I can't apply heat, because the synthetic stock would melt. Any ideas?

      That's sounds good to me

      I just DROSed a Maverick 88 8 shot

If it doesn't come loose easily that sounds like a good thing

It will be on there tight. A proper fitting socket will break it free easier than a flat head screwdiver.

Use a ratchet wrench with a socket extension connected to a 1/4" bit driver with the proper sized screw tip bit, or if it also has a head for a socket, then use a socket.
