Heavi-Shot is so Expensive, Why Buy It?

10 Shells for 35 bucks - Dead Coyote Heavi-Shot.

Can anybody tell me why using this shot is better than using say, Fiocchi Buckshot at 6 bucks for 10 shells?

The coyote will still be dead either way right? I understand that Heavi-shot is heavier than lead, but where do they justify charging such insanely high prices for shotgun ammo? What is the appeal?

By the way, I respect quality ammunition so don't get me wrong. I am just trying to understand how a 35 dollar box of ammo is justified? You can get Remington or Winchester buckshot loads for a fraction of the price of Heavi-Shot.

again its lead free, and the other plus is that since its terminal ballistics are better than that of equally sized lead, you can go down a size in shot and therefore have more pellets on target. i dont think thats quite worth the exra 30 bucks but hey, to each their own.

Lead free for wetland areas! If you are hunting waterfowl, you've needed to be lead free for many years. BTW, I'm looking for two or three rounds worth of small Bisthmas or Heavy Shot to make some .38 shotshell with. If anyone has a couple to sell, please let me know.

Lead free for Condor areas.

It's much harder to knock a condor out of the sky with non-toxic steel shot. Heavi-Shot works way better.
