Do not feel like dealing with CA Krap, can i still sell my saiga in CA??
I once pondered over the debate of 9mm vs. .40, then I was introduced to .38 super and 10mm and forgot all about it.

Technically, they are still legal with a "bullet button" style magazine lock.

But, because they were called out as not being legal in the withdrawn CA DOJ 2017 assault weapons regulations, many CA FFL dealers are unwilling to have anything to do with them.

The most difficult thing is finding a CA FFL dealer willing to transfer them.

Because of that, if you are trying to sell one, it is best to sell it out-of-state through a FFL dealer in another State.

            And remove the gas piston.

Just plugging/blocking the gas port/block is not enough for it to no longer be considered a semi-auto.
