Bizarre Mossberg forend??

Ok so I recently bought a corncob forend off of ebay listed as former police. It's got 16 Rings. It is almost exactly 7" long. Made of wood. 1 5/8 Outside diameter. I wanted to know if I need the 7 1/2" action slide or the 6 3/4" slide. I'm not sure this will fit either. The forend is stamped with the number 12 on the barrel side. It look like the shoulder shelf to the nut shelf is only 5 1/4 " Posted some photos. Hope they work. Always seem to have issues.

Some Mossbergs do have a 5 1/2" slide tube. The only one I am sure about is a .410. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/77...500-e-410-bore

Yeah but this was advertised for a 12 gauge. Do you think that is possible?

You could try a 6 3/4" tube, and an adapter nut. But that will only shorten it about 1""

I believe I have seen some odd ball 12 ga tubes that short on sale. I looked through my links, but I couldn't find one. You might give Havlin a call. If such a thing exists, they would probably know about it. http://www.havlinsales.com/
