    Clays in Mexico?

I am organizing a bachelor party trip to cabo san lucas. we will be there in a month. i want to plan an activity on each full day we are there. one of the days we will ride atvs.

i thought shooting some sporting clays would be fun, but i am not seeing any ranges down there online.. anyone ever shot clays down there? we wont have shotguns and most of the people dont shoot so we would need to rent. there will be 7 of us but i imagine several might not go. people hunt in certain parts of mexico right? i would imagine they would have some places to shoot clays .. ?

other activity ideas would also be appreciated.

I only know of Hunting Expeditions by guide, I knew a guy that ran an outfit out of Hermosillo, but that's mainland. Ive never ran across shooting ranges while in Baja, doesn't mean they dont exist. Im sure some Ex-pat is running a quiet little range in La Paz or Jamul. If you cant find one, supplement with Snorkeling in Bay Of Los Angeles, youll probably see Whale Sharks. And a bucket of Coronas and a Lobster wouod be awesome down at the Old Mill Saloon in San Quintin.

Shooting a firearm is not a casual recreational activity in Mexico like it is in the U.S.

Find an outfitter then go from there

Try Baja hunting, Arturo will know the closes spot to shoot clays

Fishing can be fun down there

Be safe, and enjoy some time somewhere in the U.S. instead would be my suggestion.

Don't know anything about this resort, but they do advertise Trap Shooting. More than likely there are other outfitters and resorts that do as well. http://www.mexonline.com/loscabos/clubcabo1.htm

That guy was an idiot and his story was BS he was in Tijuana earlier in the same day he got busted returning to Mexico later that day with guns. He didn't "accidentally" cross into Mexico by mistake with guns in the car.

                    Agree 100%.

I find it disturbing that he gets so much support on this messageboard.

When this happened the Crossroads of the West gun show promoter got on the PA system and was bleating about how he was a "prisoner of war".
