Hello everyone. I've been a member here for a while but haven't visited since mid last year. But anyway on to my question.
I got myself a Mossberg Maverick in hopes of using the basic action and barrel for a trench gun tribute . Since I am changing so much I didn't see the point in paying for the 500. I ordered the necessary parts from Mossberg to convert the action side to fit the vintage corn cob style stock set. I also got a proper mossberg heat shield. And a stock set off ebay. All that I need now is a Bayonet lug. Nc Star Sells one online that will work. Its doesnt mount the old m1917 but it will mount the m7 or m9 bayonet. I don't plan to use it. It's just a " look cool item" AM I legal to go ahead or is there some law against it. Or for that matter any of what I would like to do. With California you can't be too careful.
