    Pictures from my father's funeral...

Just kidding, his funeral was Friday, I sat shiva on Saturday, and like the good book says, I shot sporting clays on Sunday.

Northbrook Sports Club, 160 Sports Club Drive, Hainesville, IL 60030 (40 minutes north of Chicago O'hare airport, 30 minutes south of Wisconsin) is regarded as one of the premier clubs in the Midwest for good reason, their targets.

Wisconsin is well know for such cultural icons as Mars Cheese Castle, and The Brat Stop. But they also have a few sporting clays shooters, and when they can get their skeet chokes out of their guns, some of them venture south to Northbrook

Today we had great weather, it was 50 in the morning, 70 in that afternoon. Friendly people, I shot with George, Leo, and Larin. And bone crushing targets, I've passed kidney stones that were less painful.

After zeroing two stages, I managed to eek out a 51. And really anything less and I'd be wearing a dress and shooting skeet

I seriously thought you loaded your father's ashes into shot shells and blasted them off.

That would account for the score...

Seriously, my condolences to you and your family.

I guess we all grieve differently.
