One would need an 07 SOT licensed smith who can legally modify it....

One could pull the tubes, weld them at a limit needed.... or pull the tube, cut them, thread them and reinstall.

Have you ever used the DP12? A few videos online made me think I did. It need this in my novelty collection.....
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

I thought they pulled the emergency magazine regs issued in December that effectively banned the DP12/UTAS-15.

Are they back on the naughty list? - I thought they were in a grey area

When it looked like I'd need to modify it to 10 rounds, I thought the barrel hold bolts (44 on parts diagram) could be removed and custom bolts made that would extend further through the threaded end of the magazine (43) and into the magazine (41) 5" or so - effectively taking up the space of 2 shells in each tube - voila - 2 x 5 rnd magazines.

It got me to start looking at lathes. Do I need to restart my lathe research?

IIRC the new DP12s coming in simply have wooden dowels in the mag tubes.

Didn't DOJ mention something about a rivet through the side of the mag tube when they gave their example about the DP12?
