Hand Throwing Clays - Where to Practice?

Are there any places, either a range or land, where this is allowed? I live in the Los Angeles area and any information would be appreciated. I really want to start practicing hand throwing clays with my trap shotgun. The throwing machines serve their purpose but I'm looking forward to the new challenges of hand throwing.

I believe you can hand throw at Burro Canyon in Azusa Canyons!
