    Benelli super black eagle

Couple weeks ago I was shopping around for a Taurus 357 for the wife.
I saw a shot gun on the wall that looked like a Super eagle 2. Ask the guy about it , and he told me it was a beretta, but he had a new super black eagle that was supposed to be raffled off at a NWTF dinner. The guy who won never claimed it so instead of raffling again
They put it on consignment at this shop. They were selling it for $990 plus dros. I was so wrapped up in the price that I didn't notice it didn't have the shock observers in the stock. Which is the only difference between the black eagle 1 and 2. Shocked at the price I bought it, and pick it up today when I noticed that it was in fact an black eagle 1 and not 2. Is $990 a good price for this gun? Its all black, not cammo. Case, chokes, everything included.

I have a Taurus 357 for your wife.
Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government -- and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws."

You might have found a Super Nova for that kind of money or you found the SBE in the back of somebodys trunk for that kind of dough.

Well sounds like I got a pretty good deal. It was even branded by the national wild turkey federation. Can't wait to get out to Livermore rod and gun club.
