My wife and I went out running errands today. We went to some girly clothing stores and by chance wound up next to a Dicks sports. We go inside and I instantly gravitated towards the firearms. I start looking the shotguns up and down and immediately found myself staring at what appears to be a 20ga Citori with a red price tag that says $1199. I ask the clerk why the low price and if I can please see this apparent unicorn. He hands it over and explains its a display thats been there for a while. It had some light wear marks on the stock, dust in the bores and a stiff action. My wife being the angel that she is says go ahead and get it (I just bought a winchester 101 on Wednesday). I didn't have my hunting license so she went ahead and did all the transfer stuff. We get up to the register to pay and it turns out its not $1199, its actually $1099 and it qualifies for the Browning rebate.
Long story short. We scored a Citori White Satin Hunter for $1100 out the door. We're die hard bird hunters so it seems like John M Browning was looking out for us on this one lol.
