Mossberg 500 flex

Anyone here own this system of shotgun? Looks like a cool design to be able to have a one gun fits all setup. I was looking for the waterfowl/security combo but for some reason the combo setups are out of stock everywhere I have looked, only reason I can think of is they had problems or it was discontinued for some reason. I have sent Mossberg an email but no word yet.

Can't offer too much on the Flex package, but I can tell you the Mossberg 500 is a solid gun. I own two "combo" 500's, one in 20 and one in 12 gauge. Inexpensive, reliable, excellent field guns. I've killed more animals with the 20 than all my other shotguns combined. I just bought the 12 last year during the off-season, and this last duck season filled my freezer with it. Absolutely no issues, and deadly on ducks.

Poke around the "for sale" section - combo's come up from time to time. That's where I got mine.....

Yeah, I have been looking, it just seems weird that they are not in stock anywhere, neither are most of the parts.
