Mossberg 835 and 590 Barrel Compatibility

As the title states, can anyone confirm that a 18.5" mossberg 590 barrel will fit on an 835 ulti mag? I've read that they work together but would like your input before buying a barrel.

Reasoning is that I have an 835 with 24" barrel that I would like to have for range/field/HD.
