    Benelli SBE 2 Issue

    Hey

I've been having issues with my semi-auto benelli recently. This is what has been happening...

when loaded with two shells...the shotgun will not catch the initial shell when attempting to charge the shotgun. But if I manually feed a shell in the chamber then drop the bolt with two shells in the mag tube the gun will cycle just fine and will feed/eject the subsequent rounds. People have told me a mag spring would do the trick but before I ordered it I wanted to double check on here to see what peoples opinions are. If you need any more information please let me know.

    Will check back frequently.

"when loaded with two shells...the shotgun will not catch the initial shell when attempting to charge the shotgun."

Press in the carrier release tab on the bottom right side near the trigger guard before charging...thats just how Benelli has it set up......or like you said drop one in and use the bolt release

The shotguns and handguns I've owned with problems have been fixed with new springs - magazine tube, recoil, extractor, etc.

Wow really sorry I typed my question out improperly. I'm sure a new spring set will solve my issues. Thanks a bunch guys

Remove the magazine spring and try stretching it out to see if that works. If so, it's time to replace it
