Does anyone know how I can tell the choke size on my Fox Model B double barrel? I do t see any markings on the barrel.

Take the barrels off, check the bottom of the barrels by the lumps.

Try to insert a dime, cross wise, into the muzzle. If it doesn't quite fit in, it's a full choke. If it fits in with no wiggle room, it's modified. Some easy wiggle room, I/c

Most older SxS shotguns were choked modified/full.

That is good! Make sure it is a new dime. They are .705" diameter.

Unless it was a special order,
Full and Modified for 28 and 30 inch barrels
Modified and Improved Cylinder for 26 and 24 inch barrels

It's full and modified with 28 inch barrels. How do you guys think this would work trap shooting? Which barrel would you use?

A single trigger (non-selective) is going to fire the Modified barrel first (left side?), and the Full choke with the second pull of the trigger. A SxS isn't my personal first choice for a Trap gun, but I have used one before I had anything else. Trap shooting is good practice if you plan to hunt pheasant with it.
Lately my "go to" bird gun is a little Fausti DEA .410 SxS, choked Xtra Full on both barrels. It patterns so tight, it was a real challenge on the Trap range, especially since it's been awhile since I've used a SxS to shoot Trap.

You can trap shoot with any shotgun. I did my NRA Shotgun Instructor qualification with a SxS. Use what you're going to hunt with. If allowed, use both barrels.
