Will surefire DSF work on 590A1?

Waiting to pick up my 590A1...it's in jail

Wondering if the surefire DSF fore end will fit the A1 barrel? I've also heard some fore ends are NOT removeable and require buying new actions bars and fore end, etc.

Is that the model I have?

A 590A1 should/will have action bars with the removable forend portion. The DSF for the Mossberg will work with either of two Mossberg action bar/forend sizes. You'll be fine.

Yes, it should fit and install with your fore-end tube.

Read the reviews on the Surefire site for this and also people with the A1's heavier barrel had no complaints. If you run a heatshield that apparently gets in the way and requires fitting work.

The issues we usually hear about were with an earlier model of the Surefire fore-end hating the bayonet lug on the 9-shot model.
