Looking For A Specific Model 12 Winchester

My good friend Gary Fall sold off his model 12 Winchester many years ago and now is looking to get it back.
It has Gary Lee Fall engraved on it and he is willing to pay a finder's fee if we can locate the gun.
He is battling cancer and just wants to give the gun to his grandson but for some reason he wants that particular gun.
I know this is a huge longshot but somebody may have seen it.
He and he brother shot a lot of competition with 22lr and shotgun years ago and he is not interested in just duplicating the gun.

    Lynn,
Where on the gun was that engraved?
Does he remember who he sold it to, when and where?
A Model 12, 12ga? Field, Trap, Skeet....? A close date of manufacture?
The more details, the better the chances. I'll give it my best shot.

The gun was pawned at a Santa Rosa pawn shop years ago when that was legal.
The engraved name was on the large flat side of the receiver and it was his full name not just his initials.
Monte Carlo stock ventilated rib trap gun typical of around 40 years ago.
I used to shoot alot of trap and I have a bunch of model 12's but in all honesty I never really looked at them for a name.
The gun has no real collector value he just wants to give it to his grandson because he thinks his time is limited.

        Which pawn shop in particular?
