Not in any state. Any Shotgun with a barrel less then 18" is either and AOW or SBS. I contacted the ATF in Detroit and that is the ruling. Don't believe it? Simple contact your local ATF about it.
If this was true then all the manufacturers would be building these for sale as non NFA weapons. I would be building them, Wilson Combat would be building them and so would others. This has been researched by the big boys and they are not going there.
So, any of you that try this be sure to tell that ATF Agent when they are putting the cuffs on you about that letter from 2010 that you got off the inter-net and I am sure the nice ATF agent will apologize and take the cuffs off of you

No go in CA, but looks like it's going mainstream federally.
