    Benelli M3

    Are M3's any good?

Still leaning towards an M2 as recommended but just curious if M3's
are any good? Logically a pump/auto sounds better but also this introduces
    more moving parts.

Anyone with experience on the M3 please let me know what you've encountered.

    Thanks

    Eric

I like mine. But it's much more complicated than it needs to be. I just leave it on semi-auto.

Also, breaking it down to field strip, there's just too many dang parts for a basic field strip. Then again I'm spoiled by a 870 when it's just a barrel, cap, forearm, bolt and triggergroup.

Eric trust me on this you don't want one. Unless you already have other model Benellis and somebody is giving you a smoking deal.

The M3 is best if you are shooting less lethal bean bags and stuff that may not cycle the action. Have M1 and M2, sold my M3 to a cop in New York.

I trust you Buddy. Just trying to find one for the next Multigun match. My other friend offered me his M3 for the match, but I've still got my pennies stacking for the M2, half way there.
My friend said LAPD won't allow them to use the M3 because it required too many manips so the M4 was green lighted.

my uncle has one and he said if he would have rather gone with something else. Not sure how long your arms are but when I held it, it's a little uncomfortable because your forward hand is pretty far out.

Yes Sir... If it wasn't for Randy and his kick *** personality, I would
have never had the opportunity to experience a multigun match. It's
one of those things every avid shooter should experience.
X3Multigun is this Sunday in PIRU!.

You've been more than generous with your time and gear. Thanks, I feel guilty using your gear. I recently sold my upper to my AR, now I'll have to use
my DR-200 for the time being. Shoot better than my AR, reliability wise.

Btw, what kind of optics do you have on your AR?

I have a Meopta on one upper and a Trijicon Accupoint on the other rifle I use.

I am in the middle of rethinking all my gear starting with my shotguns, and we'll see how that goes.

Axe come on up if it's not raining this Sunday. You'll have alot of fun and let me know if there is something you don't have, or need to borrow. With SMM3g coming up I don't know what is going to go on at Pala but I'm going to try and make that match next month.

I've been trying to get Wes at 10% to a match for quite sometime. If you guys shoot him a PM maybe he'll come.
