    Beretta a350

Buddy just got it for around $900.

Looks and feels good. He's got an older al 391 extrema 2. They are almost identical except for:

A non steel choke (wtf Beretta?)
Fiber optic sight (not sure if his extreme got knocked off)
No rubber panels, which we both like
Sling mounts on the 350 (end cap and stock)
Butt pad is different (they have a nice micro core on there)

1" spacer and 1/2 spacer provided but no 1 1/2" screws? I contacted MGW to see if they have any.

Camo finish is nice and the gun is lighter!

Other than the choke and needing longer screws, I think it will be a great gun.

I think it's the same gun as an A300 extrema. Very few in the USA. They didn't sell well due to people thinking they were an A300.

Same gun as the al391 extrema 2 with no k.o. stock. I'm not sure about the a300 extrema - not familiar with that model. I kind of wish I save a few more hundred and bought it over the a300.

I believe the official name is the Beretta a350 extrema.

Seems A300=3" chamber and A350=3.5" chamber are about the only differences.

I think the a350 has the gas system and bolt from the a400. I could be wrong.

Bolt looks the same but the gas piston is larger on the a350.

                    Hence the bigger recoil pad?

It has the 1" spacer installed and this recoil pad on there. He would like a longer length of pull so I recommended the 1" thickness.

I put one of these on my a300 and it is a huge improvement over the solid rubber one.

For a $1000 shotgun, it's a good option for those looking for something in between the a300 and a400 and would like to shoot 3.5" shells for geese/turkeys/coyotes. Also a good option for guys that have an old al391 extrema 2 and want a similar set up.

MGW does not have screws so we are off to the hardware store or will try a thicker recoil pad. He has a $100 Beretta store rebate coming to him so he can use that for a pad and choke.

Once it's up and running, I'll report back with how it does.

Nate, have you shot yours with the new recoil pad? Do you feel that it's a lot more comfortable to shoot than with the pad it came with? I've been thinking about putting one on and o/u.
