Last time I was there was before they moved so I took a trip there today since I'm in the market for a shotgun. There's a lot of interesting stuff in there. It's quite an experience being surrounded by awesome haaha.
Anyways so I was looking at the K80's and someone (not a sales guy) was vaguley telling me about pins vs screws on the forearm and to avoid certain years, but could not be specific. This was news to me, but then again I never gave thought that Krieghoff had off years. Can anyone confirm these claims? Are there years and features to avoid?
And on a side note, they had a Kolar and I've never fondled one before and wanted to see what their sporting high rib thing was about. Oddly enough I felt that their high rib was very comfortable. Now I'm going to have to explore high ribs. Not like trap high ribs, but sporting high rib, mid rib, modified rib, I don't know what they're calling it. I'm looking for a sporting gun so basically anything with a 4" rib and a single barrel was overlooked. Man it's such a cool experience going to PSA.
