There are a few members floating around here who will recieve it, maglock it, send it to your FFL, all for a VERY reasonable fee.

A magazine lock is mandatory for any semi-auto magazine fed shotgun in CA.

Magazine lock needs to be installed prior to it being imported into CA.

It's not that bad. They have a Bullet Button-style maglock that works fine.

Yep, a lock for the Saiga shotgun has to be custom made since none of the readily available (RaddLock, JumboPanda, JJPerl) locks will work. Henderson, Fedup and AlohaRover, to name a few, can do this. Here's my Cali compliant S-12 conversion from AlohaRover with custom mag lock, 10 round mag, fixed stock and other fun stuff:

With conversion and all the add-ons, it was close to $1500.

I shot it last week and it was worth it!

It's fair game to yank the gas tube and make it single shot, then transfer it in?

Why on EARTH would you want to make this singe shot?

(a better question might be why on earth would you want this gun when a Benelli is a superior shotgun. Yes, I know, "detachable mags" which we can only have if we make them "non-detachable...)

I would think a $600+ price difference is reason enough.

dont get me wrong Benelli M4's are sweet.....but Saiga-12's look super sick.......the reason i got my Saiga-12 is because i wanted an AK-47 and i wanted a shotgun as well but since i have a pistol and an AR-15 already...i got 2 birds with one stone with the S-12.....cant wait for my S-12 to come in
