1100 G3

I was looking at the Remington 1100 G3, the left hand model.
How is the new G3 compared to other semiauto shotguns.
Does it handle light trap loads OK.

Dunno about the G3 - maybe owners can chime in - but 1100s in general don't handle a wide range of loads on the same barrel. The G3 copy claims they have a "pressure compensated barrel" that handles light and heavy loads, but I'm not familiar with it.

My 1100 20G magnum wouldn't cycle light loads reliably until I bored out the gas port a bit. Now it'll get battered if I shoot magnums in it, but i got it as a plinker, so it works for me.
