    Mossberg - 500

    Hi guys,

It seems like the Mossberg 500 has that sticky feeling while trying to cycle it. I have tried to smooth out a few edges that's improved it. But still, not there yet. I want it to be fluid and smooth cycling.

Do I need to see a gunsmith or something I can do?

    Thanks!

How long have you had it? How many shells have been shot thru it? The more it is used, the slicker it will become. I have two 500's, 12ga and 20ga. Not quite as smooth as my 870 WM, but getting there.

Rounds, rounds, rounds. Best way to smooth any shotgun action.

If it's still rough/sticky after that then further research is needed.
