New guy, needing a shotgun

New guy here, haven't done much with guns since I was a kid.
Decided I want a mag fed shotgun before the new bs laws take effect.
I'm somewhat familiar with the ar15 style guns and have been reading about the MKA 1919 Match. What can you tell me?

Just to have mostly, I guess if I had to say - home defense, maybe some fun at the range. I have been watching some 3 gun videos - looks fun, but I'd need some additional guns.
Dad had several when I was at home, we shot hunted quite a bit, never thought much about it till now. been busy getting my life started. i think it's time.

Guess, I bought an MKA 1919 Match from Tooth and nail armory, got them on sale for $499.00 CA compliant.
Just found out a buddy got his from them on monday, he's very happy with everything about the transaction. Mine should be here fri

btw congrats on your first gun purchase.

Just my opinion but a home defense shotgun is boring unless you take it out and practice drills with it. A trap shotgun or one that can double as a trap gun is a lot more fun.
