Catamount fury vs a mossberg 500

Seen there's a place that can legally sell a ca legal converted catamount fury 1, my question is how would it stack up be a mossberg 500? I've already put a mossy in jail, but seeing the fury has adjustable choke and semi auto. I'm contemplating on canceling the mossy and putting it on the fury

I'm looking for it to serve 2 rolls, home security and clay shooting. When I say clay shooting I mean shooting at the range non competitive. Opinions on just stay with the mossberg or go for the fury?

Never heard of a Catamount fury and never even owned a mossberg 500 .
But I keep the Mossburg...the mossy has a sterling reputation and a pump gun, either mossburg (or Remington) you can hang all sorts of goodies on it.

    * Not too mention if parts are needed........you can always find them for the Mossburg!

My Maverick 88 - 5-shot 18" bbl is my go to HD gun.

      It's never failed.

I prefer the lighter aluminum receiver and manual of arms of Mossberg/Maverick Vs. Remington 870 (owned one and sold it).

I own a Vepr 12 and don't want to deal with rounds deforming in magazine from long term storage and not loading into the chamber, possible malfunctions from rimmed cartridges and gas system; and the stupid Bullet-Button. It's mainly a range toy for me.

I think I'm sticking with the mossy 500. More ways to customize it,easier to get pats for.

The Catamount is a Chinese copy of a Vepr basically.

Well like I said I'm sticking with moss. I like to tinker with them but with what I save I'll put it on getting ready for these new b.s unconstitutional laws coming in a month
