    Accessaries for my Mossberg 535

I have a Mossberg 535 and I would like to know if my shotgun is compatible with the 500, 590?
The manual dose not specify if the barrels or the furniture will actually fit. I would like to get the shorter barrel, pistol grip and the longer mag tube. I also was looking at the ATI but same issue, it dose not mention the Mossberg 535. I just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

I've never heard of the 535, but I don't believe there are any mag extensions for the mossbergs since the barrel screws into the end of the magazine tube.
    Please, calm down.

I guess you must be talking about the mag cap??

My 590 manual applies to the 500, 590, 535 and 835 models. Im not sure if that helps or not, but at least the 535 is in the same ballpark as the 500/590's, so there might be hope. I'd suggest a phone call to mossberg. If i were you id get parts specifically for the 535 and save yourself a major headache

Haha, at least on my 500, all you do is unscrew a bolt at the end of the magazine tube that connects the barrel to the gun. I can change barrels in about 10 seconds. Confusing?

Interesting, but would you really WANT to fire 3 1/2" shells? You could just pick yourself up a cheap 500 and get all the parts you want .

              true dat.

naw, not confusing. At first i was picturing you literally screwing the barrel onto the end of the mag tube. Then i figured you were talking about the magazine cap. Yeah my 590 is the same way -- unscrew the mag cap and pull the barrel off. easy.

Looking at the Mossberg site and the 535 and 500 side to side, pictures only, it looks as though the receiver is a standard 500 series with a barrel made to have a longer chamber.
Mossberg themselves doesn't seem to offer a shorter barrel as an option for the 535 but most other accessories look to be the same as the 500. Stock, fore end and sidesaddle should fit.
I would imagine that a magazine extension should fit, the mag end looks the same. For a shorter barrel you may have to buy a long 535 barrel and have it cut to size, or cut to match the mag extension. the 3 1/2 inch chamber probably means no interchange with the 500.
As always, unless I say I have one in hand these are just my best guesses, hope this helps.

From this photo, it appears the 535 has the same magazine end arrangement as the 500:

This would suggest there is no magazine extension for the 535.

Note this is NOT the same set-up as with the 590. The 590 has a magazine cap like the Remington 870, which can be removed and replaced with an extension. This is not possible with the 500 or, from the looks of the photo above, the 535.

Mossberg are clearly positioning this platform for hunting, hence no need for a magazine extension.

Thats the thing though, there is no magazine extension for the 500 or 535. The barrel attaches to the gun by having a screw that extends down from the barrel and screws into the end of the magazine tube. You can see it in the photo that Mesa posted.
