    Browning Superposed ?

Superposed Lightening Grade 1, I believe. My particular example has a small section of checkering on the butt stock and another spearhead/fleur de lis that I've never seen on another Superposed. Looks factory, but not sure.

    Thanks

That sure looks like a Remington stock, but what's the rest of the gun look like?

Thanks, but everything is definitely original, including the stock. Just not sure if some added the extra panel of checkering.

          ><

Its would hard to tell if the checkering was factory or redone without a letter from Browning stating its shipped configuration. Or. if they have any records of a re-cutting of the checkering....Browning will make whatever you want on a gun.....seems strange that anyone would do so on a Grade I with grade I wood

After viewing the pic of the receiver it does not look like original blueing....the color is off and compared to the wear on the trigger ...the receiver looks too fresh...but then again, I'm judging from the one pic

Thanks for the help. Just learned that it was restocked.
