Another hull separation case

No, i never go for opener,(including dove LOL..) hunting is for joy. Opener is not.
I'm going on Tuesday and Thursday next week. maybe also Friday if ducks cooperate.

Not to get too off track, but I agree with you regarding openers...... with the exception of dove. The dove opener is just about the only time you'll see them in any great numbers.

Back on track - Fiochi and Kent are budget ammo brands. My vote is maybe a couple of boxes of crap ammo...... but I'm wondering about the new chokes? Could they be adding increased back pressure and causing the budget ammo to separate while the better constructed ammo holds up to the added abuse? What are the details about these new choke tubes.....

If the separations are coincidental with using the new choke tubes, I'd look there. Maybe use the old chokes and see if the problem goes away.

About the dove opener, it was sarcastic comments between me and Luigi.
Also some other friends of mine LOL...

BTW, at the last day of my rabbit hunting in the area you know which i'm talking about, the rabbits did not cooperate, i went to a spot where i saw a lot of doves and in a matter of 30 minutes i got 3 doves missing 7 or 8. If i was better prepared, and/or a better shooter, or stay longer i'd get more. Than it became too hot and i left. It is about not only the opener is the only day.

About the chokes, 1st it separated with the original SK choke which came with the gun, the others i do not remember, but it seems that it happened with the same choke and then i stopped shooting the "bad" ammo.
My first reaction was the gun, but then Win and another Fiocchi fired flawlessly providing good patterns.

About the ammo, i was under impression that ALL of this ammo is budget(This is why i'm using it), also, there were 2 different fiocches involved. only one was separating. And even then not all of them.

Kent in 6-7 shots had 2 separations, than i stoped using them with this gun
Fiocchi 1-1/5 in 8-10 shots 2 separation, than i stopped using them with this gun

I think it is a combination of a gun - ammo. When my other gun can tolerate some imperfections in the ammo, this one not for some reason.
If it was 100% the gun, it would happen with all kinds of ammo, if it was 100% ammo, it would happen with almost all shells as it happened with Winchester #6 of a certain butch. It was 100% ammo confirmed by Winchester. Something with the powder.

Actually i do not know if i need to think about this too much. Today i contacted the Kent and Fiocci. Sent them pictures. Already got replays.
They think it is the ammo, or at least they say so. They are sending me shipping labels and refund

1) You did not state the barrel was stamped 3"
2) You did not relate that you had confirmed via measurement
3) You gave more detail about some shells than others.
4) Is a Remington 1100 (non-magnum) contemporary? How about a Franchi 48AL (no longer in 12g it seems)? Browning Silver Sporting?
5) Rather to indicate your lack of communication and how Bt Doctur's question was still valid while also indicating that the verification (chambered/fired) was irrelevant to answering his question.

And how exactly your smart statements and other crap you are purring here in gallons help in understanding the issue with the gun/ammo, not with your mental state of mind which everyone already noticed.?

Yep, especially after some valuable suggestions from some knowledgeable members who are eager to dig dipper in to my crap i **** yesterday, to see what i ate the other day and maybe this is an controversy between what i ate and what came out.
